Salt & Honey — A Book from jGirls+
In 78 vibrant works, 62 jGirls+ teen contributors voice their celebrations and challenges, their anger and their eagerness in essays, poetry, and visual art. The themes are universal, touching on childhood, spirituality, sexuality, race, family, friends, and the world around us.
Hadassah Essay Contest
Hadassah Magazine and jGirls+ Magazine co-sponsor an annual a teen essay contest to encourage self-identifying Jewish girls, women and nonbinary teens between the ages of 13 and 19 to make their voices heard in powerful ways.
Pro-Choice: An Interview Series
As Jewish feminists, we are deeply frustrated and disappointed by the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent decision on the Dobbs v. Jackson case to overturn the Roe v. Wade ruling. Millions of people lost their right to bodily autonomy on June 24th; these interviews share the views of only a few of them. Our hope is that this collection of interviews gives insight into some of the faces and perspectives behind the issue of reproductive rights.

Throughout the year, our team of staff photographers and visual artists have created the visual landscape of our site, learned from seasoned professionals, and practiced their craft. This virtual exhibition centers their voices and celebrates their work.

jGirls+ Magazine accepts submissions on an ongoing basis from from self-identifying Jewish girls, young women, and nonbinary teens ages 13-19. You can submit articles, essays, fiction, poetry, humor, photographs, music, videos, artwork and other creative materials.
