Artist’s Statement
This photo of my friend was taken on the Arizona State University campus. Bike and skateboard racks are commonly found throughout the school’s outdoor spaces. When I saw the naturally reducing frame that I knew would lead the eye to the subject, I had to take the picture. I later smoothed and recolored it monochromatic.
