1. An English manor overlooking a flower garden and open lawn, with puffy white clouds and a bright blue sky overhead.

2. A worm's eye perspective of orange flowers against a pale blue sky of wispy clouds.

3. An angled shot of a black door set into a concrete wall that is framed by flowers. The door is numbered with a golden 2 and includes a letter box and door knocker shaped like an insect. A plaque at the top reads "Mind your head."

4. A red kite spirals in front of a bright sky with a few, wispy clouds.

Artist’s Statement

I took this collection of photographs during my time in England as I struggled to find my place. Away from home, I was able to embrace and appreciate the small beautiful things around me in a way I had never expected. It was grounding and meaningful.
