Two leafy branches silhouetted against a blurry orange sunset.

Hiding in the Light

I took this photo outside of a Trader Joe’s, and it is one of my favorite nature shots.
An individual walking down a city sidewalk with their back to the camera looks up at overhanging tree branches covered in bright yellow leaves.

Falling

The foliage was beautiful, especially with the light filtering through the trees over the subject, my brother.
A teen boy sitting on a boulder admiring the mountains, trees, and blue sky in the valley around him

Beauty Around the World

All of God's creations have a unique beauty and significance. The glory of our Earth has never ceased to amaze me.
A triangular bike rack dominates the foreground of the photo, framing the smiling face of a teen girl who peers through them.

Face Frame

When I saw the naturally reducing frame that I knew would lead the eye to the subject, I had to take the picture.

Boardwalk

A woman in a sunhat stands on a boardwalk, casting a long shadow.
A young girl wearing a helmet and an older person holding a scooter talk to an ice cream truck driver on a city street in front of a large scaffolded building.

Icebreaker

The little girl reminded me of the innocence of childhood and the freedom to wear unicorns, rainbows, and get ice cream after school.
A dancer mid-leap beneath moody red stage lights.

The Dizzy Dancer

As soon as my finger hit the shutter, I knew that I got a great shot.
All that remains of a sedan is its metal frame, which is sinking into a pile of debris at the side of the road. The rusted color of the frame matches the rust-red dirt and bushes that surround it.

Pacific Palisades Fire Damage

Rebuilding will take years.
A river frozen in motion.

Blurry Banks

Allowing my camera to capture the movement of the liquid while still making it look crisp is so cool and satisfying to me.
A girl leans on a railing at the top of a wide, curved stairwell. Her back is to the camera, and she’s looking at a gallery wall of portraits of Indigenous Americans on the landing beneath her.

Works of the World

Every part of the world holds beauty waiting to be discovered. And it's even easier to find that beauty when looking through another person's lens.

Exploring Religious and Sexual Identity through Nature’s Rainbows

Through my work, I hope to inspire others to share their colorful selves with society and create a more welcoming and vibrant world.
An angled shot of a black door set into a concrete wall that is framed by flowers. The door is numbered with a golden 2 and includes a letter box and door knocker shaped like an insect. A plaque at the top reads "Mind your head."

Nature and Nuance

I took this collection of photographs during my time in England as I struggled to find my place.
