Hi! I’m Melissa Reznik (she/her), and I’m a member of the class of 2029 in Dunwoody, GA. I’m passionate about learning about government, history, and psychology. I love drawing and painting and have been taking art classes for as long as I can remember. I’ve even sold a few of my pieces from a gallery and at an art fair. I’m also a big reader and can talk for hours about books. Something fun about me is that I love music and have attended over 10 concerts, ranging from Pink Floyd cover bands to indie bands in college bars.
I’m an active member of BBYO, and I am my chapter’s Sh’licha (VP of Jewish Enrichment). I am a member of Creating Connected Communities, where Jewish teens volunteer and collaborate to help those in need, whether it’s a toy drive for kids or a program where we give hygienic items to people in the community. I’m also very involved at my Reform synagogue, where I’m the 10th-grade representative for our youth group leadership board, a madricha (teacher’s aide) for Sunday school classes, and a participant in our confirmation program. I love getting involved in the Jewish community, and I’m excited to be a part of the jGirls+ community!
