Hi! My name is Annika Liss (she/her). I live in Durham, Connecticut, where I am a member of the class of 2025 at Coginchaug Regional High School. I love writing and am an aspiring novelist. My work has been published in both jGirls+ Magazine and Under the Madness Magazine, and I’ve received an honorable mention from the Connecticut Writer’s Project and placed first in the Shoreline Heads of English Departments short story contest. I am also an editor for my school’s newspaper, The Devil’s Advocate. Outside of writing and editing, I’m very interested in music. I play the French horn for both my school’s band and the Shoreline Youth Symphony Orchestra, as well as guitar for the jazz band. I have also played with the 2023 and 2024 Southern Connecticut Regional Band and the 2024 Connecticut All-State Band. I’m involved in quite a few extracurriculars at school, including Book Club, Art Club, and Model UN.
